Motasem Al-Yacoub, MD, attended the Faculty of Medicine at Jordan University in Amman, Jordan, and received his medical degree in 1991. Upon relocating to the United States, he conducted a residency in internal medicine at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. In addition, Dr. Al-Yacoub completed a second residency in neurology at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Al-Yacoub received board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Certified in Headache Medicine, Dr. Al-Yacoub is fluent in both English and Arabic.
